Top 5 Gifts for Your Favorite Foodies
Good Measure Meals Registered Dietitian and self-professed foodie, Olivia Bubri, compiled her list of favorite gift ideas for your friends and family!
1) Draft Latte
I tried a draft latte for the first time at our annual Food and Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE) this year, and now I am completely hooked. I love these because they come unsweetened and in a variety of flavors and styles to fit any preference. The traditional draft latte is my favorite – it’s actually unsweetened but tastes sweet from the natural sugar (lactose) in the milk.
2) Bodum French Press
My French press is probably my favorite kitchen item because it allows me to skip the Starbucks stop and enjoy my morning brew at home – hot or iced! For iced coffee, all you have to do is pick your favorite coffee (ground for French press), stir in grounds with water, and let sit overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning, push the filter down and voila! You have iced coffee. This is an essential item for any coffee lover in your life.
3) Wild Friends Seasonal peanut butters
I love any sort of nut butter, but Wild Friends has the best seasonal flavors out there, hands down. My favorite is the gingerbread – add a dollop to your morning oatmeal, yogurt bowl or toast for a delicious holiday-inspired treat!
4) Anthropologie apron
Every foodie needs a nice apron to wear while working in the kitchen! Anthropologie always has plenty to choose from, and usually at a reasonable price.
5) Williams Sonoma infused olive oils
These olive oils make the perfect gift for any home chef. The white truffle oil is my personal favorite of the variety – add a tiny bit to pizza, pasta and salads for a whole lot of flavor!
6) West Elm cheese board
If you’re anything like me, you know that a cheese board is essential for any get together. This particular board is decorative and functional, making it a great buy for someone with minimal storage space.
