Good Measure Meals Launches Partnership with Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital
ATLANTA, GA- Local social enterprise Good Measure Meals (GMM) recently expanded its presence in north Atlanta through a partnership with Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital (ESJH).
Through this partnership with Good Measure Meals (GMM), ESJH is able to offer its employees, physicians and volunteers convenient access to fresh, ready-to-eat gourmet meals. Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1880, and is Atlanta’s longest serving hospital. The 410-bed acute-care hospital is recognized as one of the leading specialty-referral hospitals in the Southeast and is located on Peachtree Dunwoody Road in North Atlanta. Staff and volunteers of ESJH can easily pick up their meals at the Winship Cancer Institute entrance located on the hospital campus. The hospital is a member of Emory Healthcare, the largest, most comprehensive health system in Georgia. Emory Saint Joseph’s medical staff is comprised of more than 900 physicians and 1,650 staff employees, and the hospital accommodates more than 120,000 patient visits annually.
Unlike many frozen or ingredient-only meal kit services, Atlanta-based Good Measure Meals provides customers with a range of fresh, fully prepared menu options crafted locally and featuring seasonal flavors, customization and calorie options, and science-backed nutrition.
Together, Good Measure Meals and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital help support the health of busy healthcare professionals, volunteers, and the greater Atlanta community. This partnership also supports the larger mission of Good Measure Meals. As the social enterprise of Open Hand Atlanta, 100% of GMM’s net proceeds support Open Hand Atlanta’s community nutrition programs provided at no charge to under-served individuals who would otherwise go without.
