Lemon & Rosemary Glazed Scone Recipe

Lemon & Rosemary Glazed Scones
The holiday season is a time for friends, family, food…and let’s face it, it’s a time when some of us pack on a couple of pounds. What does mindful eating mean to you? When you pay attention to what and how much you’re eating, you can make small changes that can make a big difference. A tip to healthful eating is to include more whole grains in your diet. Whole grains have a lot of nutritional value that refined grains don’t—such as fiber and b-vitamins. One way to enjoy the festivities but also keep your health in check during your holiday baking is to substitute all-purpose flour with a 50/50 mix of whole wheat and all-purpose flour! Exercise your mindful eating with this month’s recipe feature Lemon & Rosemary Glazed Scones, a delectable breakfast treat decorated with the perfect blend of Christmas spices and cranberries and drizzled with an ambrosial and zesty lemon-rosemary glaze.
