Dine Out. Do Good. April 29.
Do you like to dine out? Eat good food AND give back to your community? If so, you’re in luck, because Dining Out for Life (DOFL) is right around the corner!
Giving back has never been so easy. All we’re asking you to do is take a break from your kitchen and join us on Wednesday, April 29 at one of your favorite participating restaurants, and 25% of your bill will go to support Open Hand’s community nutrition programs. Did you know that over the years, our Atlanta-area restaurants have raised more than $2.8 million in support of Open Hand Atlanta’s mission? And last year alone, our dedicated volunteers raised more than $37,000 in additional donations to support our neighbors in need of nutrition? Talk about a team effort to build a healthier community!
Want to do more to help our neighbors get healthy meals and nutrition education? Do you know a restaurant owner or is there a neighborhood restaurant that you frequent? Our goal is a minimum of 100 participating restaurants, and you can help by assisting with our recruitment efforts for this year’s event. In addition, we need hundreds of volunteers to make DOFL 2015 successful! To see available volunteer roles or to sign up, visit DiningOutforOH.org.
