Shamrock ‘N Roll at March Race for Good 5K
If there was ever a race for the GMM Race for Good team, it’s the Junior League of Atlanta’s Shamrock ‘n Roll 5K Road Race.
Why, you ask? Because participants are encouraged to dress from head to toe in green!
And as all our Race for Good fans participants know, the Race for Good team’s dry-fit race shirt is “shock green” shade of neon lime; so basically, we’re automatically dressed for success. Add some flare to those dry-fit shirts by donning kilts, tu-tus, striped socks, hats, and even bring along your decked-out pup or stroller to jog with, too – all of these accessories are highly encouraged at the Shamrock ‘N Roll!
Needless to say, this 5K is a fun one (and the more serious runners among us have the option to do the 10K if desired!), and it counts as a qualifying race for Atlanta’s big Peachtree Road Race 10K on July 4. Check out our Race for Good pics from last year!
The 10th Annual Shamrock ‘N Roll 5K will take place at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 9, on the streets of Atlantic Station. And after the race, there will be food, beverages, and sponsor booths and activities for participants to enjoy.
Make sure to register before Thursday, March 6, to qualify as a “chip-timed” runner, which is necessary to be a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
Come celebrate St. Patty’s Day with the Race for Good team in style, and support the Junior League of Atlanta, an organization of women committed to “promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.”
