Winter’s Right Around the Corner: What’s on the Menu?
One thing that sets Good Measure Meals™ apart is the creativity of our culinary team. We hear it from our customers all the time. Tasked with crafting two seasonal menus, each of which include five weeks of unique meals, Chef Lamar and his team always seek to bring you the most inspired dishes you’ll ever find in a gourmet meal plan.
Recipes are a collaborative effort — tested over and over and refined until they meet the team’s expectations for quality, texture, taste, and nutritional value. And that collaboration is simply not complete without you — you’re a big part of the creative process!
Creativity isn’t just important in the development of the recipes themselves — it also ensures that we incorporate enough variety to help you stay on your plan and expose you to healthy new food options that you may not have tried before.
Sure, pickled beets aren’t everyone’s cup of tea…and there are those who have feared brussel sprouts since childhood. But you’d be surprised at how many of our customers appreciate GMM expanding their horizons. That’s why we always encourage you to give us your input — it helps us determine what we got right and what may need improvement.
Again, we are not simply a convenient or diet meal plan — we are truly your partner in health and wellness. Our goal is, and has always been, to help you live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Of course, we can only do that if we please your palate!
The new GMM Fall/Winter menu was rolled out in October to some great reviews! Check out a few of our most recent Facebook posts:
And yes, there might have been one or two of you who weren’t big fans of a certain highly nutritious and cardiovascular health-promoting root vegetable:
Beets aside, Chef Lamar’s Fall/Winter menu incorporates some wonderfully warm and filling dishes that are perfect for this time of year:
- Savory white bean chicken chili with southwest cornbread.
- Hearty, chunky beef stew chock full of lean meat, potatoes, carrots, peas and tomatoes.
- Fresh winter-spiced whole grain breakfast bread.
- Creamy sweet potato soup and roasted turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread.
- And for you true Southerners — or those of you who have taken to cajun cuisine — we have a wonderful southern Louisiana-style chicken gumbo with lots of okra, tomatoes, corn and spices. Served with creamy grits, of course!
That is just a small sampling of our new menu, which also incorporates a wide variety of cuisine: Italian, Korean, Mexican, Mediterranean, Asian and much more. And don’t forget that we also offer a vegetarian menu!
